Learning from Mahabharata: Knowledge and Action

Learning from Mahabharata: Knowledge and Action

Without both the wings a bird cannot fly. Similarly human being needs two wings of knowledge and action.

A person with only one of these wings is meaningless just like a bird with one wing.

Let me explain a bit if you’re not getting the point.
Suppose you sat to write a blog post and start writing about a specific topic. But after writing sometime you’ll feel a void in your mind. Because you’re writing something what’s in your mind already and after a limit you’ll feel the emptiness in you. This is because you’re doing the ACTION but due to running out of KNOWLEDGE the action gradually becomes meaningless. That’s why you need both the wings just like the bird to fly, to write something in flow.

This happens with everyone. When I sometime read certain books, I started writing something spontaneously and started posting here. This is because when knowledge enters into the mind it starts fueling some action. But here is a catch! The owner of the mind always has a CHOICE whether to support the fueling by knowledge or not. But the cool thing is that if you can maintain your mind in a neutral state then the Knowledge can spontaneously drive some action by itself. And here meditation comes into the picture! It helps to take your mind into the neutral state and helps to give a proper direction to it.

And guess what! I supported the fueling process of this simple knowledge after watching the Mahabharata and as a result post have been created; hence you’re now reading this post!
I proved what I’ve explained. Now it’s your turn. GO..

Cheers.
