How to fix 'site can't be reached' problem in Windows 10, Linux?

Just sharing my experience..

One day I searched a lot about why the WiFi in my laptop is not working. I read many articles and they’re explaining very advanced stuffs like editing an internal script in Linux and many other settings in Windows 10 etc etc.

But especially in my case the issue is very simple. Let me explain my scenario. Because sometimes the problems are pretty simple, we just imagine that they require hard solution.

So I’m using Ubuntu 20.04 as primary operating system. And one day I stuck with this WiFi issue. In my case the WiFi is connected with my mobile hotspot but still I can’t able to connect to the internet, not able to access any site.
Then I searched in You Tube ‘how to fix site can't be reached in ubuntu?’ Although I’ve faced this issue in Windows 10 also (in my 2nd laptop) and tried to fix it by watching some tutorials there. But even after setting things up according to those tutorials still issue remains the same, not able to access the websites!

And the solution in this case (worked for me) lies in your mobile device. Maybe sometimes due to some internal issue this problem happens. So at first I rebooted the mobile and then powered off. Kept it off for 5 mins. And reset the hotspot password. Meanwhile also restarted the laptop. Now try to connect the WiFi and hotspot. Enter the new password and walla – now you can ping sites!!
