What does meditation actually mean?

I’ve recently got a great insight from the Indian spiritual guru
OSHO. It’s about the true form of meditation. Though I’ve heard about this fact somewhere before but not have clarity due to lack of enough evidences.

To meditate you need two things: one is awareness and another one is deep breathe. And everybody possess these two things hence everyone can do meditation. So when you breathe with awareness, you’re meditating – it’s as simple as that.

Let me share an another super interesting thing. One month ago I was reading the Shree Krishna Aatmakatha book by Manu Sharma. The book is divided into 8 parts and each part contains 200-300 pages. I have read all the parts and it was incredibly awesome. For the first time in my life I got the actual knowledge and insights about Krishna’s life, struggles and great victories. I recommend everyone to read the book with patience. There are lot more valuable things to learn from this book.

Now let’s come to the interesting part of the scene and the reason why I’ve mentioned about Shree Krishna’s life. In the that book it was mentioned many times how Krishna used to do meditation. And guess what it was exactly the same as I’ve explained above – BREATHE WITH AWARENESS. It was mentioned there that Krishna used this technique to meditate frequently everyday even while traveling.
